I finally rocked the Hula hoop!

We went to our beach house last weekend and I finally got the hang of the hula hoop. I was so frustrated but then I moved my hips a little more and I started to get the hang of it.

I was so happy that I wanted to eat a banana after I finished hooping.

Now I love hula hooping.

Now it is time for me to do my daily stretches. This is my warrior pose.

It is finally time for a banana! Yummy! My new favorite way to eat a banana is to freeze it without the skin and then eat it like a popsicle!

My sister Bianca likes eating her banana in our beach house tree. They taste really good when you eat them in a tree.

Hi,Its me Bella. These are my friends at our school garden.We helped build the garden. This is my best friend Macie and her brother Ryan. We are both in Daisy scouts together. We also both play the violin. We like to climb on the monkey bars together at school. Macie is the champion queen of the monkey bars.

Our Mom’s are great friends too.They spend a lot of time in the kitchen together working on new healthy foods to feed us.

I also like that my friends are trying to eat healthy like me ! One of the things that I really like about Macie is that she always smiles at me and seems very happy to see me and she gives me big hugs .That makes my heart feel really good.

Bella is designing her own line of shoes!

This morning I decided to make my own style of shoes. I put them on my feet and they were sort of stylish but then I decided to do a pair that were even more stylish! I made the shoes out of black and white construction paper. My next designs will be made out of cardboard so that they can be stronger and not get as dirty. The new style was so cute that I have decided to do a shoe sale. When my sister Bianca comes back home from soccer we are going to play store and sell my shoes.

Here is a closer look at my shoe. They are a size 1.

I will keep you posted on my next designs….my next project will be to design an outfit to go with my sandals.

Prepping in the kitchen

Hello, it is me again. As I mentioned before I love to help in the kitchen! This was the day that I learned to shred carrots. It was a lot of fun.I have very strong arm muscles that help me to shave the carrots. We made a beautiful vegetable salad with the shredded veggies. Romaine lettuce celery,tomatos,cucumbers, avocados(my favorite) and carrots topped with some balsalmic vinegar and lemon. I think salad tastes best when I make it myself.

Water is good for my body:Sugary junk is not

I would like to tell you about water. Water is very good for your body. The first thing that I do in the morning is drink a glass of water.It helps me start my day right. Once when I ate marshmallows and chocolate sauce (before I was a healthy vegan) I didn’t feel so well. I decide to drink a big glass of water to flush out all of the junk that I had eaten. Then I ate a piece of bubble gum and my tummy didn’t feel so good with that either. So I drank another glass of water . I have decided that I will try not to eat anymore junk again.

Hi I am Bella.I am a vegan like the rest of my family. I am Bianca’s sister. I am 6 years old. My birthday is September 25th. Bianca is sometimes annoying. She wants to take my super ball and that really bugs me. My favorite fruit is canalope. I love to eat it it in long uncut pieces. My favorite vegetables are tomatoes and cucumbers with salt. I also love avacados. My favorite color is blue. I play the violin,piano and my pink guitar. My absolute favorite soup is Rosa’s vegetable and bean soup. She makes it taste so yummy because she makes it with love.

My favorite animal is a horse. In the summer I go to the horse races with my Grandpa H. to bet the ponies. I won my first horse race this past summer at the Del Mar racetrack in California.The best part about a plant based life is all of the delicious fruit. I love to go to the grocery store and help my mom pick out all of our fruit for the week. I also really enjoy being in the kitchen with my mom.
